Frederick Lane graduated from Amherst College in 1985 with a degree in American Studies and Classics. He earned his J.D. from Boston Law School in 1988 and since then has lectured on cybersafety, privacy, and law to audiences across the United States, Canada, and China. He is an expert on the impact of emerging technologies on society, with a particular emphasis on cybersafety and digital citizenship for K-12 students, educator misconduct, personal and workplace privacy.
