Hi neighbors — Not surprisingly, there has been a lot of interest in the School Board’s proposed bond for the District. The Board is actively building a website, BSDPlan.com, to offer information about the proposal, meeting dates and times, answers to Frequently Asked Questions, and other related material. If there are specific questions you would like answered, please let me know.

In the interim, I have posted a PDF copy of the Board’s PowerPoint presentation to my website. The presentation includes an overview of the process, the goals of the bond, financial details, and school-by-school illustrations of the planned work and proposed benefits. Next Tuesday (Sept. 9), the Board will hold its regularly-scheduled monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Burlington High School cafeteria. Per usual, there will be a public comment period at the beginning of the meeting. We look forward to your input.
